Wendi and I were married on October 16, 1982. I wrote this song for our wedding. The original lyrics are used here except that in the first stanza, “Even someday sharing my life with you” was changed to “Through the years I’m sharing my life with you.”

I am accompanied only by a virtual piano and strings. The strings weren’t there in 1982.
