Issue #46 — Wednesday, December 20, 2023
As of today, the newest Kharlie M album is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, and other streaming services. Consisting of 17 love songs spanning more than four decades, this album runs nearly 58 minutes. Various moods and tempos are used; some songs are sweetly romantic while a few are actually funny. You can also hear it on this website under the Music link; CDs can be purchased as well.
This was a bigger job than I imagined. An extra column of navigation (on desktop) contains links to the Kharlie M artist page on various streaming services, as well as social media links. For some, the page content will appear in two columns like a newspaper. A softer, easier-to-read font is used for the text.
In the Music section, lyrics to every song on every album have been corrected as needed. Tracks are now numbered in navigation links. There is even an alphabetical listing of all Kharlie M songs, including those yet to be released.
All of this was done to coincide with the release of the new album. My hope is that you will enjoy both the site and the music.
At this point (as I’ve already announced), I’m not playing much except for the open mics because I’m busy with caring for Wendi and trying to regain strength after having COVID. I plan to begin working on new albums in the New Year: Songs in the Key of M (brighter, happier songs) and Best Messed Up Life (mostly sad songs). An album of hymns will follow that. As always, I’ll keep you posted here and on social media.
To all of you: best wishes for Christmas and the New Year of 2024!
